Current behavior

The current interface stores the selected language in browser local storage so the next visit can open in the same language. This is not a cookie and it does not contain a screenshot, password, or payment information.

Essential service requests

The browser sends the submitted URL and capture options to the API so the service can create a task. The result page makes status requests until the task completes or fails. These requests are required for the screenshot workflow and are not optional marketing tracking.

Advertising and analytics

The current page contains reserved advertising areas but no live advertising script is part of this implementation. If Google AdSense, analytics, heatmaps, affiliate pixels, or similar tools are enabled, the operator must update this policy, list the providers, explain the data collected, and add any consent controls required for the visitor's location.

Authentication and payment sessions

If you sign in with email or Google, ScreenshotBolt sets an essential HttpOnly session cookie so the account and API dashboard can remain signed in. Waffo checkout may use its own essential session storage while you complete a payment. These services are enabled only when the corresponding production integrations are configured.

How to control browser storage

You can clear the saved language preference through your browser's site data settings. Blocking JavaScript or local storage may prevent the language preference from being remembered and may affect the capture interface.

Policy updates

This policy must be reviewed whenever the site adds accounts, cookies, analytics, advertising, payment checkout, embedded media, or third-party widgets. The operator should update the date and provider list when those changes occur.

Contact

The production site should publish a contact channel for cookie and privacy questions before non-essential tracking is enabled.
