Terms of service
These baseline terms describe the current free, no-account ScreenshotBolt tool. The operator must replace the placeholders and review the final terms for the actual business and jurisdiction before launch.
Last updated: September 28, 2026By using ScreenshotBolt, you agree to use it only for public pages that you are allowed to access and capture. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. The service
ScreenshotBolt accepts a public webpage URL, renders the page in a controlled Chromium browser, and returns a temporary PNG result. The current public flow does not require an account and supports desktop, tablet, mobile, custom viewport, and bounded full-page capture options.
2. Eligibility and responsibility
You must be legally able to use the service in your location. You are responsible for the URLs you submit, the content shown in the target pages, and your use of each generated image. Do not submit credentials, private URLs, or information you are not authorized to process.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to follow the Acceptable Use Policy. In particular, you may not use ScreenshotBolt to probe private systems, bypass access controls, overload a target site, infringe rights, or send harmful or illegal requests.
4. Temporary results
Result pages and screenshot files are temporary and are expected to expire after about seven days. We do not promise permanent storage, historical access, or recovery of an expired image.
5. Third-party webpages
ScreenshotBolt does not control the webpages that users submit. A page may contain third-party content, tracking code, copyrighted material, personal information, or malware. You must have the rights and permissions needed for your intended capture and use. ScreenshotBolt does not grant you rights in the target page or its contents.
6. Availability and limitations
The service may be rate-limited, queued, interrupted, changed, or suspended. Captures can fail because of target-site restrictions, network safety checks, browser errors, timeouts, oversized pages, or storage problems. We do not guarantee that every page will render exactly as it appears in your local browser.
7. Intellectual property
ScreenshotBolt and its software, branding, documentation, and original interface remain the property of the operator or its licensors. You retain responsibility for the material you submit and for third-party rights in the captured page. The project license and any third-party asset licenses may impose additional conditions.
8. Future paid features
The public page is free. API plans, credits, accounts, and subscriptions may be offered through Waffo Pancake. The checkout page shows pricing, billing period, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms before purchase. Your API Key remains your responsibility; revoke it promptly if it may have been exposed.
9. Suspension and termination
The operator may limit or suspend access when it reasonably believes a request creates security, legal, abuse, capacity, or reliability risk. The operator may also retire the service or remove temporary results when retention ends.
10. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided on an available basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator disclaims warranties about availability, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and the suitability of a screenshot for a legal, regulatory, accessibility, or business decision. The operator should replace this section with jurisdiction-specific language before launch.
11. Changes
These terms may change when the service adds accounts, payments, API plans, uploads, or new capture capabilities. Continued use after an updated version is published means you accept the revised terms to the extent permitted by law.
12. Governing law and contact
The operator must specify the legal entity, governing law, dispute venue, and service contact before production launch. This draft does not invent those details.
